Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has responded to comments made by his former co-star Vin Diesel, confirming that he will not appear in any future “Fast and Furious” movies.

“I think everyone laughed at him. And I’ll leave it at that. And I wish him well. I wish him well on ‘Fast 9’. And I wish him well on ‘Fast 10’ ‘ and wish all the best for ‘Fast 11’ and the rest of the ‘Fast and Furious’ films that they do without me.”

Diesel eventually addressed the tension between her and Johnson, which reportedly began after she stopped filming “The Fate of the Furious” in 2016 during an interview with Men’s Health in June.

“Hobbs’ character was a difficult character to embody,” Diesel told the outlet. “My approach at the time was love very hard to help get the performance where it needs to be. As a producer to say, well, we’re going to have wrestling-related Dwayne Johnson, and we This cinematic world is going to force, audience members, to treat their character as someone they don’t know—Hobbs hits you like a ton of bricks.”

“It’s something I’m proud of, that’s beauty,” he said. “It took a lot of work. We had to go out there and sometimes, at that point, I could give too much love. Not Felineisque, but I’ll do whatever I have to do to get performance in anything. I I’m producing.”

Diesel and Johnson’s feud reportedly began when Johnson shared a post in which he called his male co-stars from the “Fast & Furious” franchise “candy a-s.” Although Johnson never specifically named Diesel, it was rumored that Johnson believed the actor was difficult to work with.

“My female co-stars are always amazing, and I love them,” Johnson wrote in a Facebook post at the time, according to the New York Post. “My male co-stars are a different story though. Some present themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. Those who aren’t very chicken don’t do anything about it anyway .candy a-es.”
