Kristen Bell says she caught her daughters — ages 7 and 5 — drinking nonalcoholic beer during a Zoom class. What must these other parents and teachers think of me?

Kristen Bell’s two daughters enjoyed some crisp, refreshing nonalcoholic beer during morning Zoom class, the “Good Place” actress said on a podcast Tuesday.

“I walk in to check on them at 9:30 and both of them are drinking an O’Doul’s on their Zooms,” Bell said. “They’re both just sipping their Doulies. And I’m like, ‘What must these other parents and teachers think of me?’”

Bell said that when Lincoln was still a baby, husband Dax Shepard would walk around the neighborhood with a baby carrier on his chest and an O’Doul’s in his hand, and that Lincoln would “paw at it and put the rim in her mouth.”

Bell explained that the girls often an enjoy an O’Doul’s with their dad, adding that it allows for conversations about why some people aren’t allowed to drink more alcoholic beverages. Shepard, a recovering addict, has been sober for 16 years now.

“You’re welcome to tell me I’m a terrible parent. I don’t care. I’m a great parent, I think. I’m learning every day,” Bell said on the podcast. “I remind myself, ‘You don’t care, Kristen. They can pretend like you’re doing something wrong.’ I would argue that I’m not, because it’s nonalcoholic.”
