What Buchnevich did was dirty and is probably worth a suspension, but absolutely happened as a direct result of the NHL’s decision not to punish Wilson. If Pavel gets suspended it’s still gonna be infuriating

if wilson got fined $5k, then buchnevich deserves the same treatment. both acts were dangerous, but clearly DoPS didn’t think wilson’s doesn’t warrant a suspension. so the same thought should apply to buch’s. one didn’t get suspended, therefore the other shouldn’t.
