Columbine

Columbine Twitter Trend : The Most Popular Tweets | Worldwide

The answer is yes. These school shootings started when I was a teenager. The Pearl Jam Jeremy video, there was an episode of My-So-Called-Life about it, and then obviously Columbine. It makes most of us angry that nothing has been done in our lifetime now that we have kids.

@SandersonSpeaks First half absolutely riveting, second half so informative. Debating if I should read Cullen’s Columbine next, or take a break on the school shooting books for a moment.

Ford prius that runs on hate ()

pretty fucking gross to see that Columbine Tumblr made its way to Twitter. thought i saw the end of that shit once i jumped ship from that hell scape of a site. 🥴🥴🥴

Nu-Nu ()

@RareBreedRarity Wow, thx! I saw Columbine trending and saw the comments were like, “so many columbine Stan accounts.” And this makes a lot of sense. Thx again

The Black Pearl of Braavos ()

@arebirthofvenus They’ve been photoshopping flower crowns on the Columbine shooters for years on Tumblr and now they are infiltrating Twitter GOD.

Why is #Columbine trending??? This is honestly a mental illness wtf??? Who writes a story about 2 monsters in this type of way. This makes my stomach hurt🤮🤮

Ash! ()

this is a really bad time for columbine to be trending, tomorrow will already be a hard day for many students

K ()

Cum messiah ()

I hate drama but i had to said something, the ones who exposed columbine account are the one who stan some rapist or racist artists. If you want to end a person at least don’t be paradoxal with yourself dude.

Julia Thompson 💚 ()

@expelliarmoire @tashakaminsky I voted No. I got married before Columbine happened. I worried about nuclear shit, like war and power plant meltdowns.

Andrew ()

The same losers that are upset over #columbine trending are the same ones that give @netflix their money and watch every serial killer show making people rich off the misery of others. You are all wastes of life.

Sam ☾ ()

hey i love true crime as much as the next person, but people saying they want to kiss and be with the columbine murderers? nah nah nah nah nah

@tashakaminsky I was a senior in high school when Columbine happened, so it was new for all of us. I definitely never thought it was going to be more than just that one-time thing though. 😕

Major Cornholio ()

@TheBasedPluto I had and English teacher in HS grade an essay at a 93 of 100. with no red lines or suggestions. I asked, why such a low grade with zero corrections or suggestions for improvement? She says, no such thing as a perfect paper. Columbine almost came early.

🌊Danni🌊 ()

@tashakaminsky Columbine happened when I was in 8th grade so it became a reality for high school, for sure.

Simon is enjoying Cold Boy Winter ()

@tashakaminsky The first that I heard of such a thing was Columbine, and even then I never once worried that it would happen at my high school. There was one false alarm in college. No drills, no anxieties.

So Called “Shiba Expert” ()

@tashakaminsky I was in high school when Columbine happened - my mom tried to keep the news from me since she knew I’d freak out. I didn’t get concerned until I was away for college and VT happened. But even then, relatively low panic.

Grey Fist The Abolisher Of Earth ()

@tashakaminsky @daveanthony I was in high school (in Pennsylvania) when Columbine happened. It was without question, the scariest thing I had ever seen. It never crossed my mind that it was anything other than a complete, one off event. Never did I think it could happen to me or that it would happen again.

Zachary Palmer ()

@tashakaminsky I was born in 1990, Columbine happened when I was a kid and I was anxious about school shootings in high school

Lilith & Incubus, LP 💌 ()

No, but I was in the Likes-Doom-and-Nine-Inch-Nails demographic in high school which, at the time, was believed to be the most likely group to actually do such a thing (this was in the late 90s, when Columbine, Kip Kinkel, and Luke Woodham were the archetype people watched for)

MB ()

@tashakaminsky Yes since Columbine (1999) and particularly once we started doing lockdown drills when I was in 5th grade (2000). The drills, though arguably a good safety precaution, made the fears more realized. I also watched too much (?) news as a child

Staisha ()

I remember it was this boy in high school every1 was mean to. I was always nice & he was teased so bad. And if he had decided to make a columbine type move. I wanted him to be like “Staisha get out of here”. I hope he a boss somewhere and all the people who teased him on welfare.

Never Trust Papa John ()

@tashakaminsky I’m surprised the number of nos. I was born 88 and Columbine and then Virginia Tech loomed so large for me.

Brett Schiller ()

@PanasonicDX4500 @tashakaminsky Born in 82 Columbine was 97 so 2-3 years of that fear

Tara Altman ()

@tashakaminsky I didn’t until my senior year in high school because that’s when Columbine happened and my school administrators went nuts. Brought in police dogs to check lockers and interrogated some students etc.

Bronwen Jones ()

@tashakaminsky No. I was the age of the Columbine kids. (Born December 1980.) And I grew up in Canada.

K is a basic Witcher. ()

@tashakaminsky I was a senior in high school when Columbine happened. Up until that day, I had never been afraid of going to school.
